Having been very impressed with the downstairs, we excitedly hurried upstairs, only to be given a table in the secondary outside area with very limited views and unable to hear the music. The music was loud but the live DJ was decent and created a good atmosphere.Īfter a wait of around 30-45 mins, we were invited upstairs to a table outside. We had an Espresso Martini which was very tasty and well made. The downstairs bar was decorated really well, the staff were attentive (if a bit cold) and the drinks were very reasonably priced (€8 for a cocktail or gin & tonic, which is very cheap by Palma standards). We went for this second option and was very impressed. We were offered a table inside in the sky bar, or told that we could wait in the bar downstairs for a table to come up outside on the top floor. When we arrived, there was a queue of around 15 people waiting to head to the sky bar (at around 9:30pm. We visited Hostal Cuba’s sky bar for drinks whilst on holiday in Palma and whilst the view was incredible, it certainly didn’t come cheap.
